1. AXCR 2024 Race Information
The Asia Cross Country Rally 2024 (AXCR 2024) gathers a large number of experienced racing teams with race cars and drivers from various countries. AXCR 2024 officially kicks off on August 12th with a total of 6 stages spanning over 2,000km, starting from the southern province of Surat Thani in Thailand, racing northwards, passing through Hua Hin/Cha-Am, and concluding in Kanchanaburi.

Notably, August is the rainy season in Thailand, and the terrain along the race stages is near forests bordering Myanmar, consisting mostly of long stretches of gravel roads. This makes this year's AXCR 2024 extremely harsh and dangerous, as vehicle speeds will be high, but slippery roads will pose a significant challenge to driving skills and the suspension systems of the race cars.

2. Regulations Supplement
Notice of amendments and additions to regulations: Regarding the GPS navigation system for the Asia Cross Country Rally 2024, GPS navigation systems or other devices for navigation (iPad, Laptop) are prohibited from being carried on board during special stages. If seen, a 2-hour penalty or disqualification from the rally will be imposed (mobile phones are allowed for emergency use).

5. AOZOOM RACING Preparation
Aozoom Racing is one of the first professional Vietnamese racing teams recognized by the FIA to participate in international racing. Previously, in their debut at the Rally AXCR 2023, the team, then named Steelmate Racing, immediately stayed close to the top, achieving an impressive overall ranking (20th overall) and winning 3rd place in the team standings.
At AXCR 2024, Aozoom Racing is participating with car number 128. The main driver is Phan Trieu Dung Tam, the co-driver and navigator is Nguyen Tien Lam, along with logistics and technical support personnel.
AXCR 2024 Preparation Process, Applying AOZOOM Extra Lights Series for AOZOOM RACING VIETNAM
Both drivers possess extensive professional racing skills. Most impressively, both drivers of the team were recently recognized as the first two Vietnamese individuals to be granted the FIA International C-R Driving License for off-road racing. This license allows them to compete in the highest formats of Rally such as Rally 1, Rally 2, and Cross Country T1.
The Aozoom Racing team will again compete this year using the Toyota Hilux pickup truck that participated in the AXCR 2023 season. However, the team's race car has undergone numerous necessary upgrades and modifications this year. The entire rear undercarriage has been fitted with Parabolic leaf springs – the latest technology in pickup truck rear suspension for load-bearing, with varying thickness along the spring leaves. Notably, the damping will vary according to the applied load, helping to stabilize the vehicle body and improve driver precision.

Aozoom Racing's Toyota Hilux race car has also been equipped with Dobinsons shocks and bump stops, featuring 8 Dobinsons MRA (Monotube Remote Reservoir 3-Way Adjustable) shocks with 10 high-speed compression adjustments, 20 low-speed compression adjustments, and 15 rebound adjustments.
Professional Preparation Reference
The car uses Kumho MT71 "mud-terrain" tires. Additionally, Aozoom Racing's race car has been newly fitted with ARM Products gauges, along with many other technical adjustments and equipment upgrades to the gearbox, electrical system, and engine, all completed by the Vietnamese technical team.
